Step-by-Step Instructions
Step 1: Anchor Stitches Around The Elastic Band
Take your elastic hair band and hold it in your non-dominant hand.
Make a slip knot on your 5.0mm hook.
Insert hook through the center of the hair tie, yarn over, and draw up a loop. Yarn over and pull through both loops to make a single crochet around the band.
Continue working single crochet stitches directly around the elastic, bunching them together as you go.
